Tamahere Comunity Centre have a range of spaces available for hire.
There is main area/gymnasium which has markings for basketball, badminton and volleyball. There are two meetings room, one with an attached tea room, a seminar room, stage, green room and two kitchens. The hall also has storage rooms, toilets and a bluetooth/wireless sound system.
Included in all bookings: kitchen facilities and some crockery, tables, chairs, sound system and division curtain.
Tables Available: approximately 20 round and 30 oblong
Chairs Available: approximately 300
Spaces perfect for community groups, recreational activities, private functions and meetings.
Main Gym
The Main Gym is the largest out of the available spaces and can hold up to 600 people (seated). The charges for hiring this space include the kitchen facilities, but does not include the Upstairs Meeting Room – can be included with an additional cost.

This Downstairs Meeting Room is the second largest and can hold up to 80 people standing (with sliders open) or up to 40 people seated (with sliders closed).

TO SECURE A BOOKING: Once a booking is made two invoices are emailed to the renter; the full $1000 bond which is refundable after the event post inspection has taken place and a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost. The renter has 7 days to transfer these funds. The booking is only confirmed when these two invoices are paid by direct credit and the Terms of Use are signed and returned. An email will be sent to advise payment has arrived, and therefore the booking is confirmed. If payment has not been received within 7 days it will become available to other renters, and the booking will be cancelled.
School Fundraising Events:
$50 per day plus cleaning.
School Holiday Programme:
$225 per day for full use of the facility (approx. 8am-5pm).
